An organically fluid piece where the collar can be manipulated to suit your mood or occasion.

The Sombrero jacket utilises the circle and stripe notion as a construction technique.

Starting with the trumpet sleeve constructed with horizontal stripes using the purple and lavender tweeds as alternate tonal contrasts.

The ‘sombrero’ effect was achieved by radiating concentric circles from the armhole until I had enough volume for half a jacket.

The opposite side was made and I won’t lie but I’d made 2 left sides so flowing with my mistakes I turned one side inside out and created a Ying & Yang effect.One side frayed the other smooth which i must say worked deliciously.
